I’ve got enlarged pores and it’s near impossible to shrink them but apparently this product promises to change the way they look. By applying this transparent gel primer to areas more prone to oiliness and where the pores are more noticeable, it illuminates the planes of your face.
A beauty therapist friend of mine introduced me to Environ skincare products more than a year ago and although I got distracted I’m now regularly on that skincare regime and have advanced to AVST 5 with my daily moisturiser (explanation below). The reason I went back on it is because I started developing pigmentation marks on my forehead and cheeks and Environ products are known to assist in improving uneven skin tone and appearance of sun damaged skin. Here’s my story : Continue reading “Environ skincare”→
About a month ago I shared my lavender obsession and this got satisfied during our holiday in the UK (separate posts about this to follow when I have more time…) when visiting Cotswold Lavenderin Snowshill near Broadway. I looked it up last year but unfortunately didn’t have enough time to go there after our wedding in the Cotswolds. This year though, we scheduled it in on our way back from Cornwall while staying a few nights in Sunhill Barn. Continue reading ” Cotswold Lavender”→
Since I started gathering ideas for flower and colour themes for our wedding a few years ago I became slightly obsessed with anything lavender related. So there were lavender details absolutely everywhere (mental note, I must do a separate post on this one day!), including our invites, centrepieces and other decorations, wedding cake, cupcakes, favours, thank you cards, and obviously my bridal bouquet that consisted of my then newly found favourite roses – ocean spray – and lavender sprigs. My bridal eye make-up had touches of purple and my nails, of course, were lilac! 🙂 Continue reading “My lavender obsession”→
Summer couldn’t come fast enough this year! This is my first spring in the UK when the sun is taking its longest to come out and warm up the pale limbs that have been covered up for the whole winter. To be fair, it wasn’t too long ago when we were enjoying a trip of a lifetime in amazing South Africa, our honeymoon in fact, and the photo above is me frolicking on a beach somewhere on the Garden Route. November seems like ages ago… A few of my friends have already been on their hot sunny holidays abroad and I’m slowly losing my patience here and cannot wait until I can start wearing everything in my summer wardrobe.
After an eventful 2014 with getting married and honeymooning we decided to have a low-key holiday at home, a staycation in July with a rental car! How glamorous but I’m so excited! 😉 Destinations on our route include Cotswolds and Cornwall (never been before). We will be staying in a gorgeous B&B whilst in Cornwall, Trevose Harbour House, and I will definitely be blogging about it after. All we need is dry and warm enough weather and I’ll be happy and if we get a day on the beach that would be a great bonus. Continue reading “Staycation in the UK”→
