Review – Lumene Skincare

I had a layover in Helsinki on my way back from my recent trip to Estonia and had time to do some airport shopping. Finnair flight magazine had an article about Lumene‘s rebranding story, how they wanted to strengthen the image on a global scale as well as within its native market of Finland. As the products are also on sale in Estonia I’m quite familiar with them so I definitely wanted to be able to take a peek at the new range and design. I ended up buying these two from their Invisible Illumination range:

One year of blogging

A year ago I set up my lifestyle blog and if I’m totally honest, I didn’t have a plan. A strategy. A content calendar. What kind of marketer am I?! 🙂 But perhaps because I spend a lot of time planning and strategising in Excel at work that I felt, no, my blog doesn’t need a strict posting schedule. For once, I’ll just take a really laid back approach to this. So, I think I really did. Which is why this will be more my reflection of the past year and less about giving advice for people who want to start blogging. Bourjois 3 for 2

A pretty pink Bourjous purchase from Boots. I only went in for a new foundation as my skin tone is getting darker (summer is coming!) and there was an offer. And I didn’t even buy a foundation :D. They didn’t have a dark enough shade so I ended up getting a primer instead. There is no logic, I know! Then I decided a new mascara and eye pencil/liner were also due. Since my husband introduced me to this range (yes, really!), I’ve been a real fan. We’ve been buying the foaming bath for years now and last Christmas he surprised me with a gift box full of Verbena goodies.

January – a month of wellness

As I wrote in New Year’s resolutions?, I don’t do them. So I didn’t do a dry January, start a fad diet or make any other promises that I knew I wasn’t able to keep up with. Instead, I turned January into a wellness month and tried starting to look after my mind, body and spirit better. I also followed almost all of these little tips by mindbodygreen to make my life a little bit happier. 2015 in review

WordPress emailed me today that some monkeys prepared an annual report on my blog. I quite enjoyed going through these stats and found out that the most popular blog post was “Me” time talking about mindfulness, followed by a review of My Little Box and gallery of Trash the Dress photoshoot. Skin3 4th birthday
